Earth Day and Mother’s Day

ImageMaya’s class planted Lupins for Earth Day and described how they could help the earth. Maya’s is directly below the Orange sign.

ImageSuch a proud, proud mama when I see how she processes the information we discuss. She says, ‘let the cows go in the fields and do not keep them in pens and feed corn to the cows that should be out in the fields. That is her way of presenting factory farming vs. sustanaible farming. Oh that sweet little girl.

ImageOne of my mother’s day notes from Maya.

ImageOne from O! Love that Maya is flying the plane! And then I’m being guarded by the army in my US diesel truck.

Soccer practice

ImageWe finally had a dry practice last week. Most Thursday’s have been pouring rain so it was a lovely treat. It’s still like herding cats trying to get these girls to listen but Woody has an abnormal amount of patience so he’s a good 1st grade girls soccer coach.
